About Us
DWF is an acronym of Disable Welfare Foundation, a nonprofit seeking and non-political organization which has its main office in Mogadishu. Disable welfare Foundation (D.W.F.) is a charitable foundation serving all disabled people in Somalia.
People with disabilities in Somalia are the most vulnerable, poorest, less protected and totally neglected, sometimes abandoned by their families and relatives especially in situations of war.
The organization seeks to mobilize Somali people living with disabilities to take part in the reconstruction and humanitarian efforts going on in Somalia.
DWF is currently partnering with Al- Nor does school for the blind in Mogadishu that was established on 21st of July 2005 to assist in providing special need education.

Our Objectives
- To work for the protection and promotion of the rights of the disabled community and those with special needs affected by (natural and non-natural) disability in Somalia.
- To participate in the educational development in Somalia by establishing schools and vocational trainings
- To create income generating projects and development programmers.
- To work with any specialize organization involved in the disabled field.
- To provide opportunities for exchange of view among members.
