Food Security

Disable Welfare Foundation (DWF) has established community-based programs that focus on promoting sustainable agriculture and providing training on efficient farming techniques suitable for persons with disabilities. By equipping individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge, DWF has empowered them to grow their own food and become more self-reliant.

DWF has collaborated with local farmers and organizations to create accessible markets where persons with disabilities can sell their produce and earn a livelihood. By facilitating economic opportunities, DWF has helped enhance their food security and financial stability. Moreover, DWF has conducted awareness campaigns to educate communities about the importance of inclusivity and supporting persons with disabilities. By promoting understanding and empathy, we have fostered an environment where everyone can contribute to and benefit from food security initiatives. DWF also actively advocates for policy changes and works closely with government agencies to ensure that the rights and needs of persons with disabilities are recognized and addressed in national food security strategies.
